Planning Eternal Sunrise in the ninja loft.
What to Expect
Ah the burning question that everyone is asking…. What to Expect?
Well… Expect it all! Except for a traditional wedding… ; ) ; ) When we chose to get married and share this day with our friends and family, the idea of an outdoor, weekend long celebration was one of the first things that came to mind. Very similar to how tribal villages celebrate, with multiple feasts, all night dancing, family and friends of all ages, co-existing together.
Eternal Sunrise consists of a weekend of celebration and ceremony on the land of Shirley Meyer in Bridgman, Michigan. Shirley’s land is about 23 acres of prairie brush and trees, all organic (no pesticides) and much of it is in it’s natural state, thus meaning there is no manicured lawns. Attendees have the ability to camp on the land with us or to stay in local accommodations.
With the weekend being held outdoors we have made accommodations for several crucial things:
Bathrooms: We will be providing luxury portable bathroom facilities that have air conditioning, heat, electricity and flushing toilets, along with more traditional style portapotties located by the camping areas. There will be no showers available on site. If you would like to bring a solar shower, you are welcome to.
Water: We will be providing water, which is from the local municipal tap.
Garbage: there will be garbage bins, recycling and composting available. We will be taking care of all waste at the end of the event.
