What To Wear

Ah yes… the other burning question in everyone’s mind: What to wear to this special day and weekend event.

Well, the advice we can give is this..

Wear what inspires you! Wear your favorite outfits, wear bright colors, wear what is comfortable, and most importantly wear what you feel your best in.

OH and please do not wear heels! :) Since it’s outside, we do not want anyone sinking into the grass!

In June the average temperature in the Bridgman, MI area is a high of 77F and a low of 56F.

In case you are looking for a little bit more guidance then just being creative, inspired and comfortable…

Our wedding is not the most formal of events you have ever attended, nor is it a wear your Pajamas kind of gathering. Liz will not be in a large poofy “traditional” white wedding dress and Devin will not be in a traditional tuxedo… BUT! We are both going to be in some semblance of these things… with our own flair. We encourage you to wear what screams to you in your closet; your favorite shirt or skirt, your favorite hat or pair of sunglasses, your favorite boots or sandals, of if it’s a tux and a formal gown that makes you feel great, then please wear that!

Also, consider bringing multiple sets of clothing to wear. We encourage people to change outfits and often depending on their mood and situation. The ceremony and the lunch (for those that are invited to this portion) will be the most formal of the whole weekend. The dinner and festivities afterwards are a very casual, informal affair. We may also have outdoor games to play during the day, so consider bringing activewear if you want to participate. If you would like to participate in the Sunday morning Yoga class, please bring appropriate clothing.

Please remember that the weather can change in a moment’s notice - so bring layers. At times it might be hot, and others it might be breezy. Since we are embracing Mother Nature and deciding to tango with her for the day, we can not predict how the weather will be.

Whatever you wear - have fun doing it!
